Teaching Philosophy: My passion for science education is motivated by a love for nature and desire to empower students to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and compassionate global citizens through collaborative, hands-on learning founded on mutual student-teacher respect.
Effective teaching begins with building strong rapport with students. Respectful relationships are rooted in recognizing each student as a unique individual with a life beyond the classroom. Taking time to learn about their interests and consistently checking in helps students feel seen and valued, contributing to a positive and supportive classroom culture.
I prioritize creating an inclusive environment where every student feels motivated to engage actively and confident enough to take academic risks without fear of judgment. In science instruction, I emphasize hands-on, collaborative learning that fosters exploration and teamwork—key components for deep understanding. Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they need to succeed in the future.
